MOMMY LIFE AND NEW BEGINNINGS ♡

Welcome to my blog! My Little Eggi,  or (“ae-gi” in Korean means baby)  is inspired by my son and my new journey as a mother!

May 21, 2016, the day my life changed and I became a mother! It’s been 4 months since I gave birth, and I still can’t believe that I am someone’s mommy…

When I was pregnant, I remember looking up tons of blogs on what to expect, pregnancy symptoms, things to prepare for, pretty much everything and anything about motherhood and babies. I am just one of those woman who like to read up everything, mostly because I get OCD about things like that. I spent many hours during my maternity leave watching other mommy’s on youtube, learning as much as I could! Though now that I’m  a mom, I can see that no article or blog will ever prepare you for the chaos and wonderfulness that is motherhood.Regardless, I loved watching those videos and reading those blogs, because there was a sense of camaraderie in knowing that you’re  not alone and that woman before you have continually done this.

Every since I was a kid, I loved writing journals and keeping diaries of my daily life or thoughts. Its a hobby that I always wanted to come back to. That is one of the main reasons I decided to create this blog. Not only because I love that I get to share snippets of my life and document my journey of motherhood, but also because i love the idea of being able to share and reflect with words and photos!

My son is my muse and inspiration, to live everyday to the fullest and always have a thankful heart. As  a first time mommy, I’m sure that I’ll get tons of things wrong and make plenty of mistakes, but I look forward to sharing that with you all!

Motherhood puts an entirely new perspective on life and who you are, who you want to be, what kind of mother you want to be, how you want your child to be raised,  and the list goes on. For me, more than anything, this journey is about me doing the things that I love unapologetically and with sincerity. More importantly, to never forget the woman I am, so that I can become the great mom my son deserves.
